Wireframe of the marquee symbol was first analyzed to understand the subdivision modifier effect throughout the scene.
A simple red material was added to the Wireframe analysis to get a better sense of the depth from this perspective.
Additional simple materials were added to the various geometry within the scene. High contrasting colors were added to the mats.

Finally, hard-shadow spotlights were animated with a arc line geometry to create the dynamic movement of the shadows as the camera moved in relation to the arcing light.
